I really don’t like my appearance, I really, really don’t—I don’t think that’s the worst thing in the world, and I don’t think it’s great either, it’s mostly a distraction, time-consuming and largely pointless, I’ve got to figure some kind of solution out if I want to make a life for myself.
this is such a raw read, feels like looking directly into your journal, but it's great. thanks for sharing. i've thought a little about the reddit v substack debate, which one is worse, and i think for like solicitng critiques from strangers, oh hell naw it's reddit, like reddit is totally anon and substack we're all kind of our real selves and super well-behaved, polite, etc it's actually kind of hilarious, but with reddit esp rate me or beautified subreddits man that's the cruelest of the cruel
